Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
- We collect your email only if you sign up for early access, and only to tell you when our games launch.
- We measure how the site and games are used only if you allow it.
- We don't sell your personal information.
- You can ask us to see or delete your information at any time: privacy@plooca.com.
1. Who we are
Plooca (plooca.com) is a game studio based in Brazil ("Plooca", "we", "us"), at Rua Iratema, 506, Vila Industrial, Toledo, PR, 85904-360, Brazil. We are responsible for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@plooca.com.
This policy covers the Plooca website, including the games you can play in your browser. Our mobile apps have their own privacy policies, shown in each app.
2. What we collect
If you sign up for early access: your email address, the games you chose, where you signed up (for example, the website), and the dates you signed up.
If you allow analytics: a random identifier stored in your browser; the pages you visit and the buttons you press; what happens in the browser games (for example, rooms cleared, stars, scores and waves reached); the website that sent you here; your browser and device type; and your approximate location (country or city), which our analytics provider estimates from your IP address. If you choose "No thanks", or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of this is collected.
When you use the site: like every website, our servers receive your IP address and basic technical details (such as your browser type and the page requested). Our servers use them to deliver the site, to block abuse (for example, too many sign-up attempts) and to keep technical logs. These logs never contain the email address you type.
Stored only on your device: your progress in the browser games (stars and best scores), whether you've already seen a sign-up message, and your analytics choice. This stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
We don't collect names, phone numbers, payment details or precise location.
3. How we use it
- To email you when a game you chose launches, with a link to download it.
- To understand which games and features people enjoy, so we can improve them.
- To keep the site working and secure.
We don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Our legal bases
Where laws such as Brazil's LGPD or the EU and UK GDPR apply, we rely on your consent for early-access emails and for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only so they can do that work for us:
- PostHog (United States), for analytics, only if you allow it.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers that store early-access sign-ups and technical logs.
- An email delivery provider, when we send launch emails.
We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined by US state privacy laws. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
6. International transfers
We are based in Brazil, and some of our providers, including PostHog, process information in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.
7. How long we keep it
- Early-access sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and no longer than 12 months after the last game you chose has launched.
- Analytics: up to 12 months.
- Technical logs: up to 90 days.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to confirm whether we hold information about you; to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of it; to stop using it; or to withdraw your consent. Every launch email includes a link to unsubscribe.
If you live in the United States: residents of California and other states with privacy laws have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of analytics. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
If you live in Brazil, the EU or the UK: you can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
To use any of these rights, email privacy@plooca.com. We'll reply within 15 days.
9. Children
The Plooca website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
We collect as little as we can, use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and limit who can access the information. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use the email you gave us, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
